Prague

Something cool about living in this side of the Baltic Sea? It's real easy and quick to travel around middle Europa. Shame that I enjoy way too much spending time in my present town so I'm too lazy to travel more, but at least I managed to travel to Prague for a weekend with a friend! It was totally remarkable trip. To start with, it had been snowing for the whole night and trains were late. My friend lives in Leipzig and that's where the first train left. Since I came from Halle I almost missed the train because everything was so late because of the snow. Anyway we managed to get to Dresden, where our train to Prague was supposed to drive. Of course everything was again hour or so late. Finally we got to the right train, but for some reason it just didn't leave. We waited a good while, and finally it slowly started going. After some time it stopped and this time for good. After some more waiting someone came to tell us that they splitted the train in Dresden. So to speak, our train was already halfway to Prague and our train had gone to reverse track. So they told us to jump off the train (there was no platform any more because we were pretty far from station) and just walk along the tracks in the direction railway station.
All in all, we got to Czech and everything went pretty nicely forward. It was snowing for the whole time so can't say visiting view point was the best idea but at least old town and Kafka museum were worth seeing.
